Hong Kong, China, 20 November 2019 -- The EAO Formation of Formators' seminar commenced at Shaukeiwan, Hong Kong on 20 November 2019. The theme of the seminar is: ‘The Spiritual History of St. John Bosco.’ It is being animated by Italian resource Salesian Fr. Giuseppe Buccellato, SDB.

His book, ‘The Roots of the Spirituality of Saint John Bosco,’ offers a study on the least explored subject of spirituality of St John Bosco. He outlines documentary evidence from six important figures in the Catholic Church: St Ignatius of Loyola, St Philip Neri, St Francis de Sales, St Vincent de Paul, St Alphonsus Maria de’Liguori and Don Bosco’s teacher and guide, St Joseph Cafasso. These great saints have had a strong influence on the life and spirituality of Don Bosco.
